Q. How Do I contact the Owner?
A. The property owner can be contacted by telephone and by email. You should refer to the property for the details of the owner. (For Rent By Owner) would be happy to assist you in contacting the owner if your efforts should fail.

Q. How do I make a booking?
A. Property owners usually have their own way of reserving a booking. When making your booking make sure you know your arrival and departure dates, how many people you are bringing along and if you or anyone in your group has any special needs.

Make sure you sign a lease or rental agreement with the owner as well, so that the details of the agreement are in writing. As a legally binding contract, the rental agreement or lease should include defined arrival and departure dates, payment schedules, detailed instructions, and terms and conditions related to cancellations and refunds.

Q. What type of deposit and payment due dates should I expect?
A. Generally speaking a deposit is usually 10 - 50% of the cost of your rental. Most owners will want full payment for the rental 8 weeks in advance. You should check your lease or rental agreement to figure out how and when to pay.

Q. How are cancellations and refunds handled?
A. You should check the details of how cancellations and refunds are handled in your rental agreement. Note: for the most part cancellations due to weather are generally not allowed unless specified in your rental agreement.
